1. Shamrock Shake Bath Bomb

Shamrock Bath Bombs

Description: A relaxing bath bomb recipe tints the water green and smells like a Shamrock Shake!

For this craft, you will need:

  •     ½ cup baking soda
  •     ¼ cup Citric Acid
  •     ¼ cup corn starch
  •     ¼ cup Epsom salts
  •     ¼ tsp fractionated coconut oil
  •     ¼ tsp peppermint essential oil
  •     ¼ tsp vanilla oleoresin or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  •     Approximately 20 drops of green gel food coloring
  •     **optional** sugar sprinkles and a few candy shamrock sprinkles

  •     3 " diameter round bath bomb mold
  •     Bowl
  •     Whisk

Directions: Mix all dry ingredients, then add the rest, mixing while adding. If you're adding sprinkles and candy shamrocks, put them in one side of the mold before filling. A tsp & a few candy sprinkles are plenty. Press half the mixture into each side. You want to pack it well AND overfill a bit, then press together firmly. Allow resting for a few hours before unmolding if you can. Drop in your bath and relax!

2.  St. Patrick’s Day Sugar Scrub

Shamrock Body Scrub

Description: A sugar scrub perfect for exfoliating the skin and help with smoothing out the skin.

For this craft, you will need:

  •     1/2 cup coconut oil
  •     1/2 cup melt-and-pour soap
  •     1 cup sugar
  •     5-7 drops of lemon essential oils
  •     gel food coloring: kelly green, leaf green, yellow

  •     Shamrock silicone mold
  •     Microwaveable bowl
  •     Spoon

Directions: Melt the melt-and-pour soap in the microwave for the instructed time on the package. Once the melt-and-pour is liquid, mix in the coconut oil. The mixture should be fluid. If it solidifies a bit, reheat it in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds.

Mix in sugar, essential oil, and food coloring. Add only a little bit of food coloring at a time until you reach your desired color. Yellow is vital here to get the bright, fun green color!

Continue to mix until the consistency is smooth and there are no chunks of different colors. Then, press the mixture into a shamrock silicone mold.
