After a hectic day, sometimes you just need something a little sweet to get you through. However, many of us are still on that New Year’s mindset. It’s crucial to find delicious treats that won’t make you feel too guilty later.

To be successful, you have to be able to treat yourself and give in to your cravings; however, that doesn’t mean you need to eat a lot of cake, ice cream, or whatever your favorite dessert is.

Changing your desserts can help make things exciting and allow you to keep pushing towards your goals. 

1. Keto Cookie Dough Bites
Keto Cookie Dough Bites

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Butter softened
  • Keto-friendly confectioners sugar (such as Swerve)
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Kosher salt
  • Almond flour
  • Keto-friendly dark chocolate chips (such as Lily's)

Directions: Using a hand mixer, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt and beat until combined. Slowly beat in almond flour, then fold in chocolate chips. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to firm slightly. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop dough into small balls.

2. Caramel Apple Nachos 

Caramel Apple Nachos

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
  • White chocolate chips, melted
  • Caramel, warmed
  • Chopped pretzels
  • Heath bars, broken into pieces

Directions: On a large plate, arrange apple slices on top of one another. Drizzle with half the white chocolate and caramel, then top with pretzels and Heath bars. Drizzle with remaining white chocolate and caramel. Serve immediately.

3. Banana S’mores Bites

Banana S'mores Bites

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Banana
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Granola 
  • Plain greek yogurt

Directions: Slice the banana and melt the chocolate chips. Stir the chocolate. Spread greek yogurt and granola over a banana slice, using a second banana slice to make a sandwich. Dip the banana in the chocolate, and enjoy!
