Thanksgiving is here! This means indulging in your favorite side dishes, snacks, and desserts. Not only are these yummy to eat, but they are also great for your skin!

We have compiled three recipes for you to try...

Honey Whole Wheat Pumpkin Bread:
Pumpkin has many health benefits for your skin. It is loaded with nutrients, enzymes, and vitamins. Some benefits for the skin include: anti-aging, fighting free radicals, and improving skin health. The enzymes found in pumpkin break down dead skin cells and speed up cell regeneration. Pumpkin has a high content of magnesium, zinc, and antioxidants. These nutrients reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and prevent the signs of aging. Vitamin A found in pumpkins boosts collagen production and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Honey is another ingredient that helps your skin. Honey is a humectant that helps your skin absorb and retain moisture. Once that moisture is locked in, your skin will appear plump and glowing. Eat both pumpkin and honey together, and your skin will appear brighter and younger looking!

Cranberry and Apple Brie Bites

Cranberries are a great
source of Vitamin C. This vitamin helps protect collagen by neutralizing free radicals to minimize the sign of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles. Cranberries also provide anti-inflammatory properties. Controlling inflammation helps prevent the signs of aging! Collagen production helps carry oxygen and nutrients to the skin to make the skin soft, glowing, and firm.

Apples contain collagen and are vital for keeping the skin youthful. Apples also have a high-water content and are perfect for keeping your skin hydrated. The hydration along with Vitamin E will give you soft and hydrated skin. Apples are also high in Vitamin C, to help build collagen and reduce the free radical damage to your skin. This prevents the signs of aging!
